Exploiting Tournament Selection-Based Genetic Algorithm in Integrated AHP-Taguchi Analyses-GA Method for Wire Electrical Discharge Machining of AZ91 Magnesium Alloy

Concurrent optimization and prioritization of wire EDM parameters can improve resource allocations in material processing should be effective. This study advances the integrated analytic (AHP)-Taguchi(T)-tournament-based-genetic algorithm (tGA) method to moderate influence erroneous allocation parametric analysis decisions electrical discharge machining. The structure builds on AHP-T method’s platform obtained from literature develops it by including tGA while AZ91 magnesium alloy. article evaluates delta values for average signal-to-noise ratios response table deploys them arrive at winners a league consequently mutate chromosomes performance improvement. scale relative importance, consistency index, optimal setting, values, ranks are all established coupled with total value maximum evaluation selection crossover mutation stages genetic algorithm. results mutation, crossover, tournament process showed 124410, 96650, 70564, respectively.
